Expansion of RÖSLER Tyre Innovators team

Since the beginning of October 2008, the physicochemist Dr Wilfried Carl has been supporting the RÖSLER Tyre Innovators team working on the SPR system (SCHELKMANN Precured Retreading system).

Dr Carl will use his expertise in the fields of polymer physics and rubber and tyre technology to help with RÖSLER projects relating to compounding and tyre retreading technology.

Furthermore, he will be responsible for installing the new ‘Research and Development’ department in the headquarters in Dortmund, Germany. This will work on optimising the quality standards of the retreading process in regard to repairing carcasses of big tyres as well as addressing many other issues. Furthermore, the focus of the common goals will be on adhering to and continuously improving the vulcanisation technology with regard to implementing the most current technology standards.

In collaboration with the company management in Dortmund as well as customers’ licensed businesses in Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Africa and at a later date, South America and further sites in Russia, Dr Wilfried Carl will be working on extending and driving further technological developments.

This will establish milestones in the tyre retreading technology to guarantee RÖSLER’s prominent position in the international market of the related industry – both now and in future.
