Rösler adjusts the prices for retreading
Since the beginning of the year the price of rubber has been heavily influenced by the increase of demand in China and reduced production due to natural disasters and bad weather. Contracts for the delivery of rubber have reached a peak in September 2010. At prices of 3.50 USD/kg the prices have nearly doubled since the beginning of the year. Attempts at optimizing processes within the Rösler group have held a price change at bay so far, but adjustments are needed to continue business as usual.
Even with the altered prices, Röslers products (such as Rodos moldcure and Schelkmann procure retreading) still beat the price of brand new quality tires by up to 40%. Our retreading processes provide the same high quality you would expect from new tires. This is a promise that only Rösler group can provide and keep. Therefore, due to popular demand, we will also continue to offer our quality products, our intensive consulting programs and our efficient delivery service.
The change in prices will take effect on the 15/09/2010 for German tire dealers.
