Rösler opens its own retreading plant in Australia
Rösler Tire Innovators GmbH has secured a contract with Rio Tinto, the largest mining organization in the world. The contract covers the delivery of Schelkmann precure renewed OTR tires for Rio Tinto’s iron ore mines in Western Australia as well as the coal mines in Queensland and New South Wales.
All tire dimensions will be produced for Rio Tinto, the most used tire size however is the 40.00R57. all tires will be renewed in the newly opened retreading facility in Perth Australia.
Rösler was chosen above others because of years of experience and knowledge in the retreading of OTR tires.
Within the next few months Rösler will upgrade the existing retreading facility to have the same high quality standards as the facility in Dortmund. Staff members from Germany are already on site in Australia and will assist for the first few months of the operation.
With the opening of their new retreading facility in Perth and the new partnership Rösler is making significant steps for the future. The expansion into the Australian market underlines the aims of the company: to supply the mining industry all over the world with high quality products.
