TLE Tyre Logistics makes OTR Tires “Mobile”

TLE Tyre Logistics Europe GmbH is a subsidiary of Rösler group and was founded in the year 2007. The reason? To solve the problem of sending large retreaded tires and the necessary accessories effectively and efficiently. And so TLE was developed to offer a seamless logistics concept within the company.  

The transport of OTR tires, Zeus tire-fill products and other accessories demands heightened safety precautions during handling and transport to ensure that no damage is done. To achieve this TLE use special vehicles that use the Load & Lock system as well as having hydraulic ramps. In 2007 TLE started with two articulated trucks with 13.6 loading meters and hydraulic ramps. Now they have 4 vehicles and the drivers were trained in the handling of OTR tires and have years of experience in their field. 

Next to the handling of the shipment,  the economic aspect of the logistics concept plays a big part. The trips are planning with as much efficiency as possible, to avoid driving with an empty truck and as such making as much use of the loading space available. This way, TLE can offer its customers a flexible attractive price, regardless of rising diesel prices and increases in motorway fees.  

Rösler group is not the only satisfied customer TLE has. Other companies have started using TLEs offers and this lead to 10,000 OTR tires and 5,000 tons of Zeus tire-fill products to be transported in the last year. Due to the increase in volume and number of shipments, the number of costly empty runs can be decreased. Thanks to Tyre Tracking the sender and recipient can check the status of the shipment at any time on the TLE website. 

TLE will help to roll out thousands of OTR tires this year as well, and help the OTR tire industry stay “mobile”.
