ZEUS POLYFILL products registered in advance
The name ZEUS has long been known to stand for reliable flatproofed material for OTR tyres. Furthermore, this special technology for the filling of tyres of commercial vehicles combines two critical factors - technical and economic progress as well as taking environmental requirements into account. These factors are integrated into the whole process, from product development and fabrication to quality control and tyre recycling. This results in higher product recycling rates, less waste burdening landfills and a marked reduction of the ‘CO2 footprint’ through the use of environmentally friendly technologies, materials and processes.
ZEUS’ all-embracing dedication is also obvious when it comes to taking statutory regulations into account: On 1st June 2007, the new REACH-VO (EU regulation No 1907/2006) came into force; it regulates the registration, evaluation and authorisation of chemicals and applies to all substances of which at least 1 tonne is produced annually in the EU or which are imported by EU countries.
Consequently, ZEUS registered all POLYFILL products in advance. Therefore, all reactive substances in the POLYFILL components which are involved in the chemical reaction that leads to the production of polyurethane are already registered with the European Chemicals Agency ECHA. Another registration is not necessary and ZEUS GmbH is now in the position to ensure its customers at any time that all its products meet the requirements of the REACH regulation.
